Welcome to The Connected Church news!

Our next news is about Twitter.

We’ve got two news items from Twitter. The first is about account verification. Twitter has relaunched its account verification process, which it had put on hold for some time. If you are interested to get that blue tick on top of your Twitter account, then I will link to all the guidelines and details, do have a look. The second news is actually the bigger news of them both, as far as I’m concerned, because this is about Twitter Spaces, the new feature live audio feature that Twitter has. Now they are launching paid, ticketed audio room facility, which means you can host paid audio rooms, and people can buy tickets, and this can become a source of revenue for creators. A very interesting step from Twitter.

Twitter has been focusing on helping creators make money. If you remember, we had a news about Tip Jar some time back. The announcement says that, “…anyone who wants to charge has to have a 1000 followers, have hosted three spaces in the past 30 days, and be at least 18 years old.” That’s interesting.

Note: This news item is part of the weekly news show, The Connected Church News, that collects the Top 5 Digital and Social Media News each week for leaders of churches, ministries or christian nonprofit, and presents it to them in 5 mins.
