Final news of this week is from Twitter.
We’ve got 2 news items on Twitter. One is about Spaces. As you know, Twitter Spaces is the closest and strongest competitor to Clubhouse. This area of audio chatroom is growing fast. Now, Twitter has added an important functionality called ‘co-host’ functionality, where you can invite other people to come and moderate the room with you. As a co-host, the person you are inviting will have the ability to add people, remove people, and mute the speakers. It’s more of a moderation role, which I think is very important because it’s when the group becomes too large. If you’re doing this on a regular basis or as a ministry or a nonprofit that’s large in size, you might want more people moderating it to make the conversation more meaningful. I think it’s a useful feature. Do have a look.
The second news item is about Twitter releasing an ‘Agency Playbook’. Agency Playbook is a resource, it is a PDF document that Twitter has been releasing for the last couple of years. And now they’ve released an updated version, which could be useful for you if you are trying to figure out how to make Twitter work for your ministry. This is a 40+ page book and it talks about the trends, and tips etc. I will link to this in the show notes, download it, share it with your social media team, and see how to make Twitter more useful for your organization.
Note: This news item is part of the weekly news show, The Connected Church News, that collects the Top 5 Digital and Social Media News each week for leaders of churches, ministries or christian nonprofit, and presents it to them in 5 mins.
