Welcome to The Connected Church news!
Our next big news of this week is from LinkedIn.
Last week, LinkedIn added a few new features to enhance your LinkedIn profile. The first is LinkedIn Cover Story. Cover Story is a feature that will become part of your profile image on LinkedIn. But it’s actually a video. It’s a story form of video where you can record a very short, quick video about who you are, and that will become part of your profile picture. And when people click on it, they will be able to watch that video.
In fact, when they don’t click on it, it will play silently inside your profile picture space, making it look very attractive and attention-grabbing, so that people will look at that and click on it. The other two features are: LinkedIn has released a creator mode, and LinkedIn has also released this new feature where if you have live broadcast facility, when you go live, and at the same time when people visit your LinkedIn profile, the live video will actually play in the background of your cover image. You have a profile picture and a cover image. That cover image section will actually play your live videos. A very interesting feature. I really like the way the LinkedIn team is thinking about it.
