Instagram Stories, as you know, are very popular and are a great tool to reach people. There are millions of people checking Instagram Stories on a regular basis. As a ministry, I’m sure you are already using Stories in a big way.

Now you can save your Stories as a draft. You can create a story and save it as a draft. This is a small feature, but it can be really useful. For example, I’ll give you a small case study. If you are a church or a ministry and you have an event like a church service and you’re creating Stories at the moment, during the event, but you don’t want to yet post those Stories because maybe you also want your audience that are in the event to engage with those Stories, along with your online audience. So you might want to wait just for the event to finish and then post it. In that case, you can keep saving it as a draft and then post it. Just one example, but there are lots of applications for this feature for nonprofits and ministries. Do check out this announcement from Instagram.

Note: This news item is part of the weekly news show, The Connected Church News, that collects the Top 5 Digital and Social Media News each week for leaders of churches, ministries or christian nonprofit, and presents it to them in 5 mins.
