Our next big news is from Instagram, and it’s an important one.

Last week, the head of Instagram announced in his Twitter and Instagram accounts that there are changes coming to Instagram, especially to the videos. He said that they are shifting focus to 4 key areas. And those areas are: creators, video, shopping, and messaging. When a company like Instagram says that they’re shifting focus to key areas, then we need to pay attention because that’s probably backed by a humongous amount of data that comes from Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and all these apps. So they are looking to shift this focus for two reasons. One is they’re saying that’s where people are, which means we, as creators of churches, nonprofit and ministries need to pay attention to these four things. They’re also saying that it is to help them compete with TikTok and YouTube, which he admits in that video, are growing very fast
So, again, these are dynamics that we need to understand when we start creating content for the future and start planning our success on social media.
