Welcome to The Connected Church news!
This news is from Google.
Our next news is from Google. Google Maps team has released a new feature that might be very helpful when we are going to a particular area during this COVID time. It is good to see technology companies rising up and coming up with new features that help us to live in this COVID season, in the new normal, as we call it.
The Google Maps team say they are introducing COVID layers in Maps. It is a tool that shows critical information about covid-19 cases in an area so that you can make more informed decisions about where to go and what to do. The announcement says that “when you open Google Maps, tap on layers button on the top right-hand corner of your screen and click on covid-19 info. Then you will see a seven day average of new covid cases per 100,000 people for the area of the map you are looking at. And a label that indicates whether the cases are trending up or down”. This could be very useful when you’re traveling for work or other purposes. Do check it out.
