2020 has been a year where many people have looked up to nonprofits for help. And this year’s Giving Tuesday was well-supported by different social media channels. Last week, we announced how Facebook has helped, and this week we saw YouTube announced that YouTube Giving program being rolled out globally. Last year they were testing it. Now they announced that they are rolling it globally for all creators who are willing to raise money for certain non-profits using their videos and shows on the platform.

Instagram also made announcements about the various tools that they are releasing, especially inside Stories for giving during Giving Tuesday, which was last week. So it’s nice to see all the support coming in for nonprofits from social media channels.
