Welcome to The Connected Church news!
Our next big news is from Facebook.
It’s important from a connectivity perspective within the Asia-Pacific region. Facebook has announced that they are investing and building 2 new subsea cables that will connect North America and Asia-Pacific region, using a very interesting route that they are taking, do check out the map that they have attached with this. I will link to it in the show notes.
This goes on to show how keen companies like Facebook, and Google, and other Internet0-based companies are, to connect people and bring faster Internet, and better connectivity to various regions. This is an opportunity that opens up new doors for you as a nonprofit or ministry to reach out to new people, to serve people, to help people in different regions. So if you’ve listened to me earlier, you’ve heard me say, “Don’t worry about connectivity.
These companies will make sure that all the people around the world are connected. They will make sure that there is fast Internet. All you need to focus on is create good content, serve people”. Just think about how you can reach people and help people as they use the Internet and social media more and more in the days to come.
Note: This news item is part of the weekly news show, The Connected Church News, that collects the Top 5 Digital and Social Media News each week for leaders of churches, ministries or christian nonprofit, and presents it to them in 5 mins.
