Meta to share more revenue with creators till 2024 & adds Avatars Store: Connected Church News

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta posted on Facebook about the new monetization programs that they are bringing to the platform. The first big announcement is that they will hold off all revenue sharing till 2024, and that includes paid online events, subscription badges and bulletins. So basically they are saying until that time, creators get to keep all the revenue. They also talk about new features like interoperable subscriptions, Facebook stars, NFTs and so on. All these are as part of the comments in that post (by Zuck). I will link to the post. Do check out the comment section. The next big announcement last week was about a new store called Avatars Store. Meta Avatars Store is where you can go and design your avatar, your digital avatar, and also clothe it or purchase your fashion items from stores like Prada and make your avatar look cool. Because avatars are becoming important, right? Not just in the VR metaverse, but also on Instagram and Facebook and Messenger, so, it’s nice to make yours look good.
