TikTok announced its partnership with Disney to celebrate 100 years of the Walt Disney Company. In the process, TikTok has managed to bring a ton of Disney’s content to the app. Users on TikTok will be able to “watch videos from across Disney’s brands, create their own videos with Disney music and effects. They will be able to play daily Disney trivia, collect and trade character cards of favorite characters to win unique profile frames to show off their fandom”. All these features are going to be things that TikTok’s younger audience are going to absolutely love because people already love Disney characters. So I think it’s strategically a great partnership by TikTok.
