Yuga Labs, the parent organization of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT announced partnership with Gucci, the fashion house announcing that they are releasing a limited number of jewelry called KodaPendant. The announcement says the “KodaPendant on Other side Relic…” Other side is the Metaverse owned by Yuga Labs, “…Other side Relic by Gucci is a digital and physical piece that represents Gucci’s entry into Other side, limited to 3,333 KodaPendant”. That is the limited number edition. I actually like the announcement by Gucci in their Twitter account, which says, “continuing to explore the metaverse. The house comes together with Yuga Labs. Stay tuned as a new narrative takes shape blurring the boundaries between digital and physical”. So the big part of this story is how a NFT is evolving into a hybrid-physical, and a digital asset that can have different utilities.
