LinkedIn announced that they are making changes to the way you see posts on your newsfeed. They say that they’re going to add suggested posts, which are selected by the algorithm. The announcement says, “with suggested posts, we do the heavy lifting to find out what is trending among professionals in your field, and surface great conversations on topics that might be very relevant to you”. They also go on to say that “to help you discover more relevant content, we are making these changes”. So basically what they’re saying is, apart from, posts and content from the people you. Follow on LinkedIn. You are also going to start saying, content from people that you don’t follow, maybe related to a topic or your industry. Basically, they’re all trying to increase their engagement because talk’s, engagement’s going through the roof, and every single social media channel wants to increase their engagement rate.
