In spite of last week being a busy one for TikTok, where its CEO appeared before the US Congress, they seem to be releasing new features. Last week they announced a new feature called Branded Effects, which lives inside the Effects House. Effects House is the one where as a creator or as a designer you can go in and you can create your own augmented reality AR effects. That is when you use TikTok, you would’ve seen effects like having a mask or having something, an augmented reality element, appearing inside the video, that you can wear or it’s on your face etc. So you can create that inside the Effects House. Now they’re bringing Branded Effects, which means, for example, as a ministry, you can create your own branded mask, or your own branded helmet or a face effect or something like that. And users can actually use that when they create videos. This will be branded. And this helps you run new types of AR campaigns.
