Welcome to The Connected Church News!

Our first big news of this week is from Clubhouse.

Our next news is about Clubhouse. Last week, Clubhouse released a very interesting feature called Clubhouse Links. These are links which you will create for your clubhouse room. Let’s say you want to have a particular chat about a particular topic. You can create a link for that room now and you can share it with the people who you think would contribute the most for that discussion. Now this will be a private room and people only with that link will be able to join. So it is almost like a Zoom chat but with audio, on Clubhouse. I can just think of multiple use cases for this. I know ministries that actually, even now, have clubhouse meets for their daily operations.

They actually jump on clubhouse and talk about work. I can also think of multiple Ministry use cases where you can have small group meetings, invite only a few people for a very specific discussion, or invite your Church members for the topic that you created that week. There’s just a lot of of interesting use cases and all this is audio, mind you and it’s so easy because Clubhouse has this fantastic UI, user-interface, so definitely you want to take a look and see how you can fit this into your Media-Ministry plans.
